In early summer<\/strong> the Grossarl Valley presents itself from its best side: the last snow on the mountains has melted and the sunshine finally chases away the last remnants of winter. The flora<\/strong> and the flower world awakens<\/strong>. First of all the moss bells<\/strong> and crocuses<\/strong>. Shortly afterwards the gentians  <\/strong>and the cow bells<\/strong> bloom. Finally from around mid-June the alpine roses<\/strong> transform the alpine pasture into a pink carpet.<\/p>

Experience nature's awakening during the alpine rose weeks<\/strong> from mid-June to mid-July in the Grossarl Valley and savour the magnificent play of colours in early summer. During this period the farmers<\/strong> in the Valley of Alms open up their alpine huts again. The dairyfolk and the animals yearn for the day they can leave the valley behind and take up  their summer quarters on the alpine pasture. Then it's time for the hikers<\/strong> to head up to the alpine pastures and mountains. <\/p><\/div><\/div>
